Bojana Kovacic Zemljic, author of the unique jewellery brand E2RD, is a member of the Designers Society of Slovenia, and currently one of the most active and renowned designers in Slovenia. She loves experimenting and creating playfully-energetic, rebellious ideas, which reach above the seasonal trends, providing us with slow and everlasting genuine fashion, underlined with her personal style.
Her creativity is not restricted only to design; she is active in other fields of culture as well, and organizes a variety of social events and art exhibitions in E2RD every year, where an atelier meets an art gallery. Her collaborations are not only limited to Slovenian artist, but also reach beyond our country’s borders, broadening the Slovenian culture with the influence of the world.
Her latest works include representing Slovenian artists with her gold collection E2RD GoLD in Dubai Expo 2o22, as well, and she manages of the creative part of the scientific-research project New Slovenian Silk under the mentorship of the institute ISS_RLB – where she, with a certificate »silk, made in Slovenia«, developed unique silk jewellery from a thread of raw silkworm cocoons.
E2RD gallery is the high place, cute “hygge” of Maribor, where colourful circle of creative, dynamic local art people of different profiles joyfully gather. Together they write new, penetrating, urban stories for the city they love.
